1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Asian Value Investor ("we," "our," "us," or the "Service"). These Terms of Service ("Terms," "Agreement") govern your access to and use of the Asian Value Investor website, newsletter, content, and services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Icarus Asia Limited, a Hong Kong-based risk and advisory firm.

You agree not to use the Service unlawfully; interfere with Service security; attempt unauthorised access; introduce malicious software; scrape or harvest data; or impersonate another person or entity.

Submitting information through the Service does not create confidentiality obligations unless expressly agreed in writing. Please do not transmit sensitive or confidential information through unsecured web forms.

Users are responsible for ensuring compliance with the laws and regulations applicable in their jurisdiction. Service access may not be lawful in certain jurisdictions.
12. Dispute Resolution
By using Asian Value Investor and related services, you agree that any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms, your use of the Service, or any aspect of our relationship will be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration in Hong Kong.
Arbitration Framework:
The dispute resolution mechanism is governed by the Arbitration Ordinance (Cap. 609), which adopts the UNCITRAL Model Law. Arbitration offers a confidential, legally binding, and enforceable process for resolving disputes.
Arbitration proceedings will be administered by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), with the seat of arbitration in Hong Kong. The arbitral tribunal shall consist of one arbitrator, and the language of arbitration shall be English.
This arbitration agreement constitutes a waiver of any right to litigate claims in court, including the right to a jury trial.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR. Disputes are resolved by arbitration under section 12.
14. Changes to terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
